"This is great summer fun," said Country Club President Bob Dmitroff, looking over the big crowd in attendance last Friday night at the Bay City Country Club. "This is our biggest event of the year," Dmitroff continued.
Impersonator Tom Watt and his Jimmy Buffet Band were on hand to provide the Summer Fest entertainment. "This is our third or fourth time in Bay City," Watt said. "We got a great night weather-wise, a great turnout and we're ready to play some music."
According to Ed Bialek, Country Club Director of Operations, this is the 12th year for the Summerfest Party. "I think this is our third year for the Buffet theme," Bialek said. "Everybody seems to enjoy the food and the music."

The July Summerfest is the party of the year for the membership. But there is always something going on at the Bay City Country Club, according to Bialek.
"We have our Golf Invitational in June, the Buffet Summerfest in July, Member-Member Golf in August, The President's Ball in November and of course, there's New Years Eve," Bialek pointed out.
Bialek said the Country Club has a very diverse membership with members ranging in age from 20 years to 90 years old.
"We have something here at the Country Club for just about anyone," Bialek went on. Golf, tennis, swimming, youth activities, fitness room and yoga instruction are among the many activities available at the Country Club during the year.
BIG CROWD - A big crowd was on hand Friday night for the 2007 Jimmy Buffet Summerfest Party at the Bay City Country Club. The weather was very cooperative and Parrotheads strolled the outside patio while enjoying margaritas and fine food offerings.
